Advisor Meredith Mears represented the buyer of Virginia Square, a prominent +/- 24,720 square foot shopping center fronting Route 13 in Salisbury, Maryland. An established local investor purchased the property and plans to fill its vacancies with office and/or warehouse users. The center’s longtime tenants including Family Dollar and Rent-A-Center will remain in place.
Mears will continue her relationship with the buyer and assist with the leasing of the property. She commented, “Virginia Square and its tenants have existed for quite some time at this location. We look forward to them staying in place and continuing to serve the community. At this time, there is significant vacant space with dedicated parking near the rear of the facility currently available for lease. New ownership is offering build out options for the available space and hopes to bring new activity to this portion of Route 13.”
