I am very thankful for the effort Joey Gilkerson displayed during our search for a new location for Peninsula Alternative Health. Given our industry we had some out of the box needs and requirements, and Joey was able to satisfy them all. The location that he was able to secure on our behalf is close to downtown, easily accessible to the bypass and will allow us to best serve our patients throughout Delmarva.
As we approach our 60th anniversary we are excited to expand into a larger space and join the Northwood Industrial Park Community. We are thankful to Joey Gilkerson for helping us find the perfect property to continue to provide our clients with top-notch service at a reasonable price.
I was looking for office space in Salisbury to relocate. I knew I wanted to be downtown because it is close to home and I like the environment. As soon as I walked in the door – I was sold. Brad and Joey went above and beyond with keeping a historic face on an old property while renovating and freshening up the interior. I feel right in this space and connected with a thriving community.
Through our shared network we discovered the Naylor Mill property was going to become available and when we learned Brad Gillis’ team could bring in Zoetis, we wanted to be a part of the deal. This opportunity was advantageous for the customer, Gillis Gilkerson, the bank and the community.
When we came to Joey for help in finding our first location, he was able to help us meet all of our specific requirements at the time. With the extreme growth that our business has experienced over the past few years, our needs have vastly changed. Joey was able to create a solution that offers our dispensary a seamless transition and allows our business the infrastructure needed for continued success.
Joey did an extraordinary job explaining every facet of negotiating a lease that would be beneficial to both myself and the property owner. He detailed the ins and outs of triple net leasing and assisted me in drafting and presenting a proposal that was accepted within a few days. As a result of COVID-19 we faced some additional challenges, but Joey worked closely with both parties to reach an amicable transition. He was continuously attentive to every detail of the inspection and transfer of property. I would give my highest recommendation to Joey Gilkerson and NAI Coastal. They were instrumental in the transaction that helped to make my dream of having my own practice a reality.
I have worked alongside Joey on numerous city-building projects over the past five years. His ability to capitalize on opportunities, advocate for causes in which he believes, and work toward community engagement has made him an invaluable collaborator and friend.
When Joey Gilkerson says he “can get it done,” he keeps his word. As a tenant in one of the properties he manages, we are so pleased by the speed at which he responds to requests and his communication about progress when things take time. Rare qualities in this world.
