Joey Gilkerson is a Principal with NAI Coastal and Gillis Gilkerson Construction and Development Company. Involved in the brokerage and development aspects of the real estate industry for over a decade, Joey’s group has brokered over 350 commercial real estate transactions, and participated in a volume exceeding $500 Million in brokerage and development deals.
Gilkerson specializes in buyer and tenant representation for office and industrial users in Delaware and on Maryland’s Eastern Shore. In addition to brokerage activities, Joey leads the operations and portfolio management activities on behalf of the Gillis Gilkerson group.
Gilkerson is a community advocate with a passion for philanthropy. He is an active member of several downtown-related committees and serves on Wor-Wic Community College’s Foundation Board. Formerly, Gilkerson served on the board for Habitat for Humanity as chair of the site selection committee in Wicomico County, and also as the Chair of the Young Professionals of the Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce.
Joey is a graduate of Salisbury University and lives in Salisbury, Maryland with his wife, Lauren, and their children, Roman and Magnolia.
I am very thankful for the effort Joey Gilkerson displayed during our search for a new location for Peninsula Alternative Health. Given our industry we had some out of the box needs and requirements, and Joey was able to satisfy them all.
