Previously in his career, Johnson served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Hebron Savings Bank and Provident State Bank. Throughout his 24 years as a bank president, Johnson expanded the reach of both companies and spearheaded the implementation of strategic planning processes and penetration approaches for new markets. Johnson has been recognized as Metropolitan Magazine’s “Best Personal Banker” in 2006, 2007, 2010 and 2014 and was named Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce’s “Businessman of the Year” in 2014.
